Moelfre Lifeboat Day - 2010

Moelfre Lifeboat Day will be held on Saturday 14th August 2010, with a 10.00am start.

The hard-working committee have been busy arranging events over the winter months for this special day – by now it is one of the largest events in the social calendar for the whole island.

 

The Lifeboat Station will be open from 10.00am giving guided tours of the boat and boathouse until just before launch which will be at 1pm.

 

There will be old favourites and new activities to keep the whole family occupied for the whole day.

 

Join in the fun, 2010 promises to be another cracking day in raising funds for a very worthy cause.

 

Moelfre Lifeboat Princess for 2009 was Katie Massey ‘Y Wern’ Moelfre, and the Mascot was Llyr Evans ‘Glanhelen’ Llanallgo – over £5,000 was raised in 2008.
